Vessel Safety

• Our vessels have been purpose built to operate at high-speed on Sydney Harbour in all weather conditions.
• The Oz Jet vessels can stop within two boat lengths. It's fun and also ensures a high degree of safety.
• The vessels are fitted with specially designed seating for the smoothest possible ride.
• Individual seat belts
• Safety bars (like those on a roller coaster)
• Life jackets on-board
• A safety briefing is provided prior to every departure

Code of Conduct

Oz Jet Boating vessels are able to operate in most parts of Sydney Harbour. A code of conduct was drafted between the governing body of Sydney Harbour, the Waterways Authority, and Oz Jet Boating to ensure that rides are conducted safely.

Safety Requirement

The minimum height for children to ride the jet boats is 130cm (1.3 metres)
